Accepted forms of payment in USD are:

 

  • Credit card (Visa or MasterCard)
  • Bank transfer and local company cheque
  • Cash

The registration for the convention is not confirmed until the corresponding payment has been received in full (inclusive of the bank charges) via bank transfer or credit card. For on-site registrations, only cash or credit card payments will be accepted.

Bank transfer payments
Your registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of the full amount via bank transfer. Kindly indicate “Delegate Registration Invoice Number” at the time of making a bank transfer. To confirm your delegate registration, kindly also send a copy of the BTT (bank telegraphic transfer advice) to Ms. Ammara Shahiryar on ammara@gpca.org.ae. All bank charges must be paid or borne by the participant.

The amount credited to our bank account should be net of bank charges for remittances.

Credit card payments:

If you have paid by credit card, then kindly note that the full amount for your registration will be charged to your credit card. If required, supporting documents must be provided to complete an offline transaction. All credit card charges must be paid or borne by the participant. A confirmation email will follow with all the relevant details of your reservation. Any kind of refund on a credit card payment will take 30 working days to process subject to organizer’s terms and conditions.

Your registration badge will be printed as per the details provided by you at the time of registering for the convention. For any modifications, please contact the GPCA registration team at  ammara@gpca.org.ae

Any registration cancellation must be notified in writing via email to: ammara@gpca.org.ae

You may cancel your booking at any time. If cancellation is more than 31 days before the event date we will at your option accept a substitute at no extra cost (please see substitute section below) or refund 75% of the applicable delegate fee. If cancellation is less than 31 days before the event date a substitute will be accepted but no refund will be given. Failure to attend the event counts as a cancellation.

Substitutions: If any delegate is unable to attend we will accept a substitute delegate at no extra cost. Please notify us in writing by fax: +971 4 451 0777 or email to:  ammara@gpca.org.ae with the name, job title, email address and telephone number of both the registered and substitute delegate. Please also advise if a visa invitation letter is required and whether the substitute delegate has any special dietary or access requirements.

Reserved seating is only available for selected VIPs.

The dress code is business attire, business casual or national dress.

Online registration will remain open until 27 September 2017. However it is advisable to register before this date or at one of the on-site registration desks on 26 – 28 September 2017 from 09:00 am (Bahrain time) to 18:00 pm (Bahrain time).

Registration will be open from 09:00 am on 26 September 2017.

For security reasons, please provide your confirmation letter or business card in order to receive your convention badge, materials and to gain access to the GPCA Fertilizer Convention.

All registered convention attendees will receive the speaker presentations (where we have permission) by email after the convention is concluded.

Tourist visas which are valid for 2 weeks are issued upon arrival at the Immigration Department at Bahrain International Airport at the cost of BD 25 per person. Citizens of the United Kingdom receive a 3 month visa on arrival. Citizens of the following countries can obtain a visa upon arrival: Andorra, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Republic Of Ireland, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, U.S.A. and Vatican City. Citizens of nationalities not mentioned above can apply for business visas, which require a minimum of seven (7) working days (excluding public holidays) to obtain. Clear passport copies are required for the visa application and an invitation letter from a Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association in Bahrain. Visa processing fee of BD50 (which is non-refundable), valid for seven (7) days upon date of entry to Bahrain, apply per application. Please note processing can exceed 7 days pending public holidays and weekends (Friday and Saturday) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
